Flash Player Mac Catalina

Since updating to macOS Catalina, Flash is unable to be enabled on a per site setting in Edge Dev. I'm running Edge Dev version 79.0.294.1. It seems that macOS is blocking Flash within Edge Dev due to security issues (see attached photo). This isn't an issue in Chrome. I have this issue on two o. Mac OS X, version 10.3 and earlier: uninstallflashplayerosx10.2.dmg (1.3 MB) (updated 05/27/08) Choose Window Downloads to view the downloaded uninstaller. Save the uninstaller file in a convenient location. Open Safari, and choose Safari Preferences. Click the Websites tab and scroll down to the Plug-ins section. Locate the Adobe Flash Player entry. Click the checkbox to enable Flash Player. Many of the most prevalent Mac malware right now arrive on your Mac via a fake Flash Player download. Read more about the threat of viruses and malware on the Mac and how to protect yourself here. I've read that as of MacOS Catalina, Adobe Flash is neither supported nor required. Safari uses some other newer technology instead. Further, I believe as of 2020, Adobe will no longer offer Flash to anybody. Personally, I prepared for MacOS Catalina by removing Flash while I still had MacOS Mojave installed.
