Bloodborne Remote Play
I'd like to play Bloodborne a lot but I can't. My main issue is that I almost only play VG on couch when my GF and I are watching TV. I play on my laptop (a quite good one) but ofc I can't play BB with it. I'd like to know what would be the very best ways to play it like this. Yharnam in your pocket
If you're anything like us, you're currently stuck at your job - wishing you could be playing From Software's werewolf-punching epic Bloodborne.
Well, the good news is that you can. Thanks to the console's remote play settings you can log into your PS4 over a local wifi connection or the internet to play on your PS4 from work. Or the toilet.
It's not an ideal solution. And we don't relish the thought of fighting a boss with this small screen, dodgy controls, and unpredictable latency.
But if you want to grind through some Blood Echoes in a familiar part of Yharnam from afar? It's pretty perfect. Here's how to do it.
From your PS4 home screen, hit up to access the top shelf of options and then choose Settings. Find 'Remote Play Connection Settings' in the list and load it.
Make sure 'Enable Remote Play' is ticked. Also, we'd recommend ticking 'Connect Directly with PS Vita' for a better experience.
Then hit 'Add Device'. You'll be given a code which we'll need to type into the Vita. Now, go grab your handheld!
Dust off your Vita, turn it on, and pick the PS4 Link app. If you don't see it, you will need to update your Vita's system firmware from the Settings app.
Otherwise, load that baby up.
Choose 'Remote Play' from this list. Then, on the next screen, enter the number that's currently showing on your telly. After a few seconds of syncing up you'll see the PS4 settings menu appear on your Vita.

Don't worry, you only need to go through this process once. After this, you'll be able to immediately connect to your PS4 - as long as it's on (or in rest mode, and you've selected the option to turn the console on through remote play) - either locally or over the web.
Start playing! It's the exact same game, but just smaller and with crappier controls.
Speaking of controls, it's the same as the Dualshock 4, expect that L2 (use your left handed weapon) is now on the left side of the touchscreen, and R2 (heavy attack) is on the right.
Plus, you need to tap the right side of the rear touch panel to lock onto enemies and can use the middle of the touchscreen to replicate the weird touch panel on the PS4 pad.
